About
Omagh: A Guided Heritage Walk.
Join members of the Omagh Heritage Forum for a guided walking tour of Omagh that brings the town’s hidden heritage to life.
This European Heritage Open Day event will invite residents and visitors to explore the streets, stories and landmarks that shape Omagh’s past, while discovering the people, places and traditions that continue to influence the town today. Led by Omagh Heritage Forum, the tour will uncover lesser-known heritage sites, reveal the history behind familiar streets and encourage participants to look at the town with fresh eyes.
Whether you are a local resident, a history enthusiast or simply curious about Omagh’s story, this is a chance to connect with the town’s rich cultural heritage. We hope to inspire greater appreciation for Omagh’s heritage and encourage people to become involved in protecting it for future generations.
