Ekphrastic writing is where writers observe and respond to a piece of visual art and use it as inspiration to create a piece of writing or poetry in response to the feelings, thoughts and emotions which arise. Participants will be introduced to examples of ekphrastic writing and several forms of writing and poetry. Participants will then be encouraged to observe and respond to work in the current exhibition.
