Join dance tutor Anthea for fun, easy dance routines, plus stretches, breathing, laughter, and relaxation. No experience required. Everybody welcome. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and soft shoes, such as trainers. Bring some water and a friend.
Anthea McWilliams is an independent dance practitioner with over 30 years of community dance practice in N.I.She specialises in delivering movement programmes with older people, both with active seniors (Age on Stage/Lisburn) and with training staff in dementia care home settings (Strictly Active/Belfast). She is currently engaged in performing one-hour readings of her recently e-published book ‘Born to Prance – one woman’s story of dancing up Ireland’. She holds an Honours Degree in Performance Arts (1987) from Middlesex University (2:1) and in 2001 graduated with a Master's in Cultural Management from Ulster University (Distinction).
