Omagh-based musician Mark McCausland has been on a bit of a prolific home run the past few years. Having 6 highly acclaimed albums as one half of The Lost Brothers under his belt, he has since gone on to find his own success producing material under the moniker, McKowski.
Throughout his career he has worked alongside renowned artists including M Ward, Jolie Holland, Glen Hansard, Richard Hawley, Howe Gelb, John Parish, Paul Muldoon, and more. His work has been favoured by The Guardian, Uncut, Mojo, The Irish News, Stereogum, while Will Seargent of Echo & The Bunnymen heralded his recent LP with Nick Power as “a masterpiece”.
More recently he has crossed over into the world of cinema, with one of his short stories being turned into an award winning feature length film, The Spin, which he also composed the musical score for. This one-off homecoming concert showcases the music from The Spin plus more from his eclectic solo career.
