This is a 4-week course running on alternate Saturdays as follows: - 16 May, 30 May, 13 June and 27 June
This course offers you the opportunity to create a variety of small works in different media that will become part of a Book of Belonging.
Using reflection and experimentation, you will view the original concertina Prayer Book that has inspired this project and create work around themes relating to your own thoughts about our universe, our environment and each other.
The tutor will lead you to experiment with watercolour techniques, create your own handmade prints, and play with words and colour.
No previous experience is required, just the willingness to take part.
This course runs in conjunction with the Northern Ireland Mental Health Arts Festival, celebrating wellbeing, inclusion and belonging.
As the sessions complete, chosen pieces from each person will be made into a concertina book that will be exhibited as part of the NIMHAF 2027
