Fusion by Aaron Brannigan

A journey of creative rediscovery, this exhibition captures human expression through evolving portraits in pencil and charcoal, shaped by community, psychology, and artistic exploration.

Strule Arts Centre is delighted to extend an invitation to all to attend the Opening of  ‘Fusion’ by Aaron Brannigan, at 7pm on Tuesday 03 March 2026.

Aaron Brannigan, originally from Co Tyrone, found his creative voice during furlough, channeling his artistic energy into visual expression. With a background in Psychology, he has spent years working in Belfast, supporting individuals and community groups through his work with local organizations.

Currently, as a Skills Navigator, he leads workshops in employability skills, arts, and crafts, blending his passion for creativity with education.

This exhibition showcases a selection of his charcoal works, though he also enjoys exploring the depth and richness of oil painting. Constantly evolving as an artist, Aaron continues to experiment with new techniques and subjects, seeking fresh ways to capture the world around him. In this collection, he presents a series of portraits in pencil and charcoal, reflecting his ongoing journey of artistic discovery.

Sa taispeántas seo, taispeántar rogha dá shaothair i gcarbóin, cé go dtaitníonn péintéireacht le hola leis freisin. De shíor ag forbairt mar ealaíontóir, leanann Aaron air ag tástáil teicnící agus ábhair nua, ag lorg bealaí úra chun an domhan mórthimpeall air a chur in iúl go healaíonta.

Sa bhailiúchán seo, cuireann sé sraith portráidí i bpeann luaidhe agus i gcarbóin i láthair, ag léiriú a thurais leanúnaigh sa chruthaitheacht agus sa taiscéalaíocht ealaíonta.
