Martina Devlin & Paul Clements – Omagh Literary Festival
We will rewind time and celebrate the centenary of Benedict Kiely’s birth and his rich legacy which has influenced the literary landscape of Ireland from Omagh to Dublin and across the Atlantic. This year the festival, 'Rewind Time' , opens up wonderful worlds of literature and imagination with a host of some of Ireland’s best novelists and writers. There will be opportunities to meet award winning novelists like Donal Ryan who write “The Spinning Heart” and listen to great stories, conversations and memoirs by Eamonn Mallie and Mary Kenny.
Omagh’s Martina Devlin, best selling novelist and award-winning columnist with the Irish Independent and Paul Clements popular travel writer, author and journalist, in conversation. They will read and discuss their writings featured in the especially commissioned book for Kiely’s centenary ‘In the Harbour Green’.
